I wrote this song using the chords (played backwards) from a song penned by my ex-girlfriend. I wrote the lyrics to suit my perpetual state of bewilderment while in that relationship. Brett and Justin helped with lyrics and arrangement respectively.
Lead vocals: Brian Jump

lyrics
I'm always confused about what to do or say when it comes to you
If I stand my ground I may look down and see I'm solo at a table for two
If I move to the left, you'll move to the right and I'll be wrong
I'll fall back to the ground
I'm always confused when I'm with you
You're always amused when I say, "this time I 've made up my mind"
The conversation has not run dry but the floods are all the same kind
When I look at what's left, none of it seems right
It's all gone the certainty I'd found
I'm always confused when I'm with you
solo
I'm always confused when I'm with you
I'm always confused when I'm with you
